Phone Support

We have found that most support issues related to software are best dealt with through written tickets that can include URLs and links to resources. However, we do offer phone support to our subscribers for technical issues but this process must be first initiated through a support ticket. Submit a ticket with your phone number and the reason you need to speak with someone and we will call you. This means no waiting on hold and we can work to serve you in a timely manner. Phone support is not for training purposes, so if you are trying to learn how to use the software, we suggest you take advantage of the resources on this wiki or on our tutorials site.

Jason
Showit "Support Guru" Jason was brought onto the Showit Team as a result of a past business partnership gone bad. Jason was the founding inventor and creator of the now popular Sham-Wow chamois (or sponge). Originally named Sham-tastic by Jason, this incredible invention was stolen by his former business partner and patented to sell millions. The story goes that Jason and his business partner stumbled upon the creation of Sham-tastic when they accidentally left a sponge and a chamois on top of Jason's hot stove. The two were instantly melted together to form the ultra-absorbent Sham-Wow(tastic) that we all use today. Jason immediately knew he had created something magical and rushed to get a patent. Unfortunately he knew very little about getting a patent and when calling the Patent Shop support line, his questions were never answered and no one ever got back to him. His crafty business partner was able to get information on patenting and left the country with the original prototype. When Jason saw the Sham-Wow(tastic) infomercial months later, he threw a lazyboy recliner through a second story window and vowed to dedicate his life to providing timely and informative support to customers everywhere. He has been a happy member of the Showit Support team ever since.

Andrew
Known in certain circles as "Support Stud" - Andrew's story is one of dedication, hope, and a little bit of luck. Born in the heart of Communist China, Andrew fought his way out of poverty and oppression by becoming the countries leading Indo-Chinese kick-boxer. He was clearly not of Chinese heritage, but was very well received by the Communist Chinese people who named him "Big Red" because of his vibrant red hair. Although he was very successful as a fighter, his biggest fight was his ongoing battle with depression - deep down he knew that he was meant for so much more. In the summer of 94', Andrew had finally had enough and decided to move to the United States to fulfill his lifetime dream of becoming a member of the Best Buy Geek Squad. Unfortunately his career at Best Buy was quickly terminated after he round-house kicked an ignorant customer in the face. He was soon after hired by Showit CEO David Jay who saw the news of the Best Buy incident and stated "We could use that kind of fight on the Showit Support Team...and he will be working from home." Andrew has been a happy, rage-free member of our team ever since.
